Pressure Converter

Pressure Converter tool used to convert between different units of pressure. It is usually a separate tool rather than being an integrated part of a calculator or other device.

Pressure units are a measure of the force per unit area applied to a surface. The most common pressure units are Pascal (Pa), Kilopascal (kPa), Megapascal (MPa), Hectopascal (hPa) and Bar (bar). Pascal is widely used in meteorology, hPa is typically used in aviation, MPa is mainly used for fluids and kPa is often used in engineering and construction. .Depending on the type of pressure system, different units are used to describe the height at which a given atmospheric pressure exists. If a barometer is used, then 100 hPa is approximately equal to sea level, which is why it's often used as the standard for this purpose. In aviation, an airplane in flight may be said to be "at" or "below" 1 hPa.
